Who: Chris Argent and YOU!
When: latter half of September
What: More resolved than ever to making Medietas home, Chris tries to better find his place.
Where: Mundus, Aerlion, the Roadhouse, anywhere and everywhere.
Notes: None yet, but stay tuned!
Chris was never going home.
He was aware that it could happen against his will, had heard of Lydia's disappearance from others in the pack--he knew it was possible, but Chris wasn't looking forward to it. Here, with his daughter, he was content.
For once in his life, he was being selfish: he was content to stay.
He was, however, getting restless and didn't have a job. Once he was resolved to change that fact, he started spending his days on Aerlion and around various businesses that peppered Mundus and the other islands. Already aware of the Roadhouse from Allison, he stopped by from time to time for the occasional beer, and stopped in now and then at the Mean Princess to keep his hand to hand skills sharp.
He spent time with his daughter. He got to know his new world...hell, he even had lunch with Derek one afternoon, and enjoyed himself doing it.
For once in his life, Chris wasn't on the front lines. He wasn't a soldier, he wasn't cannon fodder...it was slow goings, but he was learning what it felt like to just be a man.
It was scary...but it was also oddly satisfying.
